STUPIFIED! :o
i almost walked my way home tonight. literally!
enrollment sucks! with the humid weather and the aching of your muscles, you just feel like going home and bathe with hot water. i’ve a book to read but i really don’t know why i didn’t read as soon as i lined up there and noticed that the line almost occupied the whole second floor. students sat on the floor but i also don’t know why i didn’t. not myself. there was air coming from the windows but of bad quality. i mean, there were janitors cleaning the roofs and exterior walls of the building with high pressure hose. of course, water was carried by the wind inside the building. we thought it was raining for it smells like earth. sometime later, i decided to read the book and sit on the floor.
after almost 5 hours of waiting for enrollment at the main building, i remembered that i have no more money left for me to go home. haha. too bad. my classmates have already gone home by this time, i thought. oh! and i don’t have my cellphone with me for it was infected by virus. worthless.
around past 6 o’clock, i was through with the fuss and headed to @rhayneriel’s hideout to phone my older sister. thanks to Alexander Graham Bell for inventing the telephone. and a big word of gratitude to William Gray for introducing the pay phone. well, no one’s answering the phone then i figured out that maybe they just don’t want to (usual custom). useless. good thing that after 14 years of being knowledgeable enough, and almost everyday of calling my cousin on the phone (though they only live next door), i already retained their phone number on my mind just this last month. at first, granny can’t hear me clearly because of the honking of vehicles. so she hung up. wow! i cried. i phoned my sister’s office, no answer too. despair. i called granny again, and good thing she heard me. then it goes that cousin called papa to fetch me (just like a good dog waiting for a command). i waited at Central station for 1 hour. there’s this lady who asked me for the time and afterwards, before she left, gave me candies. great! then papa came. good thing there are dads. :)
but i really can’t imagine how stupid i am for forgetting the transportation fee. thinking of the yesteryears reminded me that i was always lost then. now, i’m not lost anymore. i’m just stupified. thanks to short-term memory loss! :D
